God, I think this is the 3rd painting I started today... been feelin' a bit high all-day long, and no, I'm not talking about illegally-high, mind you :XD: I guess this environment got me a bit more connected though, otherwise I wouldn't have probably finished anything today.

Anyway, I think the idea behind this is really straight-forward. The scene depicts an airship flying "high above the clouds", passing by some futuristic type of buildings. This painting was inspired by Daniel Dociu whom I find to be one of the most unique and inspiring concept artists I've seen so far. Do check out his gallery! :)

It's breathtaking, but until I read the description what I believed I was seeing was a crashed spacecraft in the snow, with a blimp, possibly built by the survivors, making good their escape.
